THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me Mary Ann Judson of Redmire in the County of York spinster.

I give and bequeath ALL MY PERSONAL ESTATE AND EFFECTS whatsoever and wheresoever unto the Reverend Ottiwell Sadler? of Bra(n?)raster in the County of Norfolk Clerk his executors administrators and assigns upon the trusts and for the interests and (?) hereinafter (?) that is to say UPON TRUST to convert out? a part of my said personal estate as may not consist of money into money (except my various apparel trinkets and ornaments) and after the payment and discharge of all my just debts funeral and testametary expenses and the (?) of proving this my will to invest the residue of my said monies which shall remain after (?) the purposes aforesaid in this or their (?) or (?)s or mortgage Government or other good and approved security or securities with a power to vary and alter any (?) proper and pay and apply the interest dividends and (?) proceeds thereof unto my mother Eleanor Judson of Redmire aforesaid widow for and during her life with a proportionate part thereof to the day of her decease and from and after the decease of my said mother then I direct that my said trustee or trustees shall stand possessed of the sum of five hundred pounds upon trust to pay the same (?) with all interest that may have accrued (?) unto my nephew James John Espiner of Redmire aforesaid on his attaining the age of twenty one years but if my said nephew shall die (?) age of twenty one years without leaving issue or having left issue that shall have departed this life (?) age (?) to pay the same unto my sister Rebecca Wilkins of Louisville Kentucky North America but in case my said sister Rebecca Wilkins shall not then be living in that case I direct that the said sum of five hundred poounds and interest shall be paid unto the child (if only one) or unto and equally between the children (if more than one) of my said sister Rebecca Wilkins share and share alike on their severally attaining their respective ages of twenty one years and unto the issue of such of them as may be (?) bear (?) issue taking if only the whole and if more than one then equally between them a parents share only But in case all the children of my said sister shall depart this life before attaining the age of twenty one years and without leaving lawful issue (?) or (?) surviving then upon trust to pay the said sum of five hundred pounds and interest unto and equally between the said Ottiwell Fasier? Elizabeth Ann Lamb of Middleham in the county of York spinster and Emma Rebecca Sutton? wife of (?) Sutton(?) Esquire of (?) (?) in the said county their executors administrators and assigns and upon further trust to (?) (?) of the residue of the said principal trust (?) and all interest that may have accrued due thereon and to pay the interest and accrual proceeds therefrom arising unto my said sister Rebecca Wilkins for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease upon trust to pay the same principal trust monies and all interest unto the child (if only one) or unto and equally between all the children (if more than one) of my said sister Rebecca Wilkins share and share alike on their respectively attaining the age of twenty one years and unto the issue of such of them as may be (?) (?) such issue taking if one only the whole and if more than one then equally between them a parents share only. But in case all the children of my said sister shall depart this life before attaining the age of twenty one years and without leaving lawful issue then ? or her surviving > upon trust to pay the ? principal and ? monies and interest unto and equally between the said Ottiwell ?, Elizabeth Ann Lamb and Emma Rebeca Sutton, their executors administrators and assigns and i do hereby declare that the bequests hereinbefore made to my sister Rebecca Wilkins shall be for her sole and ? use and benefit and not subject to the debts, ? or ? of the present or any alteration ? and that her recipt notwithstanding the present or any future ? shall be a valid and effective ? for all monies payable to ? this my will. I give and bequeath unto the said Ottiwell Sasler? the legacy or sum of Sixty? pounds as a small testimony of gratitute for his trouble provided and I declare that my trustee and executor for the time being shall not be answerable for any loss or losses which may happen in passing this my will into execution and that it shall be lawful for them to reimburse himself of all costs and expenses incurred in or in relation to this my will or the trusts thereof and I appoint the said Ottiwell Sasler sole executor of this my will. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this fourteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and forty seven. PROVED at London the 18th May 1848 before the worshipful Frederic Thomas Pratt, ? of ? Surrogate by the oath of the Reverend Ottiwell Sadler? ? the sole executor to whom admon was granted having being first sworn duly to administer.
