Bearpark
The only Bearpark family in Redmire in 1841 is Henry and his
wife Hannah:
Name | Age | Occupation | Birthplace |
BEARPARK Henry | 65 | Farmer | Yks |
BEARPARK Hannah | 70 | | Yks |

Henry was baptized 12 April 1774, the son of Henry Bearpark, a hosier,
and Eleanor nee Metcalfe. He married Hannah Peacock (the daughter of
Edmund Peacock and Isabel Robinson) on 8 March 1808. Hannah had been
baptized in Redmire 25 December 1770. They had had three children,
none of which are left at home in 1841:
- Ann: baptized 27 May 1810
- Isabella: baptized 22 September 1812
- Henry: baptized 26 November 1813, buried 1 July 1827
By 1851, Henry is a widower: his wife Hannah was buried in Redmire
on 8 February 1848. This is the last time we see Henry as well,
as he is buried in Redmire 19 July 1853, and no more Bearparks
appear in Redmire census returns.
