The Ellen Dinsdales have a relative visiting from Leeds, indicating where this branch of the family was branching to. This is the last census listing for Ellen senior, as she was buried 17 January 1900 in Redmire.

It is a mystery who are the parents of young Elizabeth.

James' daughter Alice, married George Fryer of Newbiggin, Bishopdale, at Redmire 26 June 1887. Son John became a draper's assistant in Liverpool, married 5 August 1902 Edith Annie Draper, daughter of another John.
