Anthony Hutchinson was baptized in Grinton, 29 July 1792, son of Robert. He married Margaret Sherlock, 31 August 1817 at Marrick. The above Robert is their son, baptized 27 September 1818 at Arkengarthdale.

Anthony's wife Margaret is buried in Marrick Priory, with her parents (John and Elizabeth Sherlock of Owlands) having died in 1847. They can be seen together in 1841 at Marrick Abbey.
